The Mobile Base Camp is completely self-sufficient so you can go dispersed camping for that disconnected off-grid getaway or to your favorite RV campground. We think the best is somewhere in between. Visit our inspiration page for some of our favorite spots.

No minimum nightly rental required

We book all rentals through Outdoorsy. There is a standard platform fee that will be added to your rental along with a prep fee of $100 that ensures the Base Camp is sanitized and restocked with all the essentials prior to each rental.

There is also a $500.00 security deposit that is fully refundable.

We love dogs! Please bring along your furry camp buddy.

But leave your smokers at home…kidding, of course. But please, no smoking in or near the roof top tent. If the Base Camp is returned with any cigarette smoke detected, you will incur an additional deep cleaning fee.

Once your booking is confirmed, you can cancel within 48 hours for a full refund, as long as at least 14 days remain before departure.

Otherwise, the cancellation policy is flexible.

  • Cancel more than 5 days before your trip begins: 100% of the booking total is refundable
  • Cancel 5 or fewer days before your trip begins: 75% of the booking total is refundable (you pay 25%)

The service fee, and the tax you pay on it, are not refundable. The insurance and other taxes are.
